Overture is a heavy 4-ply loosely twisted over-dyed cotton. One ply is equivalent to #5 DMC Perle. Colors match those in Encore and Bravo. Color variations are spread apart in large areas which make this great for large 4 way designs. Can be used for all sizes of needlepoint canvas, cross stitch and hardanger fabrics, including 28 count linen.
